Script Permissions

  • During the authorisation process, you will see a list of the permissions the script needs.Read, compose, send and permanently delete all your email from Gmail: the script needs to read your email messages with the Evernote tag, composes the message to be forwarded to Evernote, and send it. It can delete the forwareded messages that was just composed after sending.
  • See, edit, create and delete your spreadsheets in Google Drive: actually, it only needs to see and edit the current sheet. It can import previous settings in the Settings sheet, it fills in the Logs sheet with the subject lines of the forwarded messages, fills the Labels sheet with the Gmail labels to support dropdowns for selection, and edit the Versions sheet to keep track of any updates
  • Connect to an external service: it will connect once every day to check if there is a new version. If so, it will add it to the Versions sheet and if important enough, it will send you an email message about it.
  • Allow this application to run when you are not present: in the background, it will check your mail for new messages to be forwarded
